Beautiful copy of the super-rare 1968 Taiwan pressing of the first Scott McKenzie LP, called The Voice of Scott McKenzie in the US and most of the rest of the world, but here named after the famous song, San Francisco (Be Sure to Wear Flowers in your Hair), on First S FL-1515. Beautiful orange vinyl pressing. These Taiwanese pressings were made for the Chinese and general East Asian market, where western records were generally not allowed, and so were sold in very limited quantities, making them quite rare today. Especially in good condition like this one. Really a beautiful copy with nearly no wear. The disc plays just beautifully. These Taiwanese records are of a somewhat lower quality than for other places, and always have a bit of light background noise even when they are mint or new. This is pretty close to mint but has just a little background crackle, which is really only noticeable between tracks. A beautiful copy. The paper cover is likewise quite clean, with only a bit of light edfe and corner wear. Usually these covers are all bent and torn. A beautiful copy inside and out… and so rare!
