OVERVIEW

The MRF Steel Muscle S1M4 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. It is designed to be mounted on all axle positions.

The ideal tread design manages to improve the tire's controllability. The closer and better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Furthermore, the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges to grip the road. This allows the tire to enhance its cornering and maneuvering, ensuring safer handling, as the tire guarantees a secure performance.

The tire offers great all season traction, optimizing its year-round performance. Year-round traction and hydroplaning resistance are offered with this model. Durable rubber materials keep the tire pliable in changing temperatures, by using weather-resistant rubber. On the other hand, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges that firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges. Hydroplaning is avoided thanks to the groove pattern. These grooves prevent water and slush from cutting off the tire's road contact in wet conditions.

Longer-lasting tread life is guaranteed with this tire. The stabilized footprint and the strong compound enable the tire to increase the tread life. The tread ensures even pressure circulation across the tread area, avoiding irregular wear formations. Strong compound elements decrease the treadwear rate as well, by using wear-resistant compound elements. The slow and even wear boosts the service life.

The MRF Steel Muscle S1M4's robust structure and rubber compound increase its heavy-duty performance. The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound enhance the tire's load-handling power, by evenly distributing load and driving pressure across the tread area. As the tire does not deform under load and driving pressure, it allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

This is a Tubed Type Tire (TT), which requires an inner tube to properly function. This purchase does not include the inner tube or flaps.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
