Listed is a very rare and special C.L. Guinand (Le Locle) Split-Seconds Rattrapante Chronograph Pocket Watch. Produced around the early 1900s, this pocket watch features a solid 14K rose gold open-face case with a white enamel dial and a 30-minute recorder. It uses a keyless-wind movement and has both chronograph and split-second functions. The crown pusher operates the start, stop, and reset, while the case-band pusher controls the split. Both the case and movement are stamped with the matching number 33369, confirming they are original to each other. The chronograph and rattrapante functions engage smoothly, and the watch winds and runs properly. The service history is unknown; however, the movement itself is in very clean condition for its age and is running very strongly. The case has a few dings here and there, but other than that, everything is in great order.
