I am currently listing a very large personal knife collection--over 100 knives total, of all different kinds. Please see my other listings; I will happily combine shipping on knives purchased within a 5 day period.

You are looking at a Vintage 1980-81 Buck 112 FG Finger Grooved Ranger Knife with original black leather 112 sheath, as well as the original paperwork and original box.

This knife is preowned. I am not the original owner of this knife, I am only selling it. The knives I am currently listing have come from one man's personal lifetime collection. This knife is in what I would consider to be very good condition overall. There is only some minor cosmetic wear present. I am very picky, and have examined it for both cosmetic wear and functional issues. I will list all I know about the knife below, but please understand that I am NOT a knife expert. I am happy to answer questions or send additional photos through private messages about any of my listings.

Length of knife when open: approximately 7-1/4"
Length of knife when closed: approximately 4-1/4"
Number of blades: one clip blade
Year made: 1980-1981
Markings: The blade is stamped "BUCK", under that is "112" , and under that is "U.S.A.". The one dot on the left and two dots on the right of 112 indicates 1980-1981 as the year of manufacture. There are no other markings that I can see anywhere else on the knife.
Blade edge: The blade edge is very sharp. The point is intact and is also very sharp. I have shown these up close in my photos for you to be able to view so you can determine wear and edge condition for yourself.
Cosmetic wear: Both the blade and the handle are in very good condition overall. There are a few surface scuffs/marks on the blade as well as the handle, which I have shown in photos. Please view photos.
There are no cracks of any kind on the handle. All rivets are intact.
There is the very slightest wobble to the blade when open. You have to be moving it very hard back and forth to feel it.
The knife does open, lock, and close as it should.
The blade does snap closed well, but needs a little more assistance to open.
The original black leather 112 sheath is included and in very good condition overall with not much wear. It is stamped "Buck" on the front and "112" on the back. The snap does function as it should to keep the knife securely inside the sheath. There are no functional issues with the sheath.
The original paperwork and cardboard outer box shown are included. The outer box is in good condition with not much wear--please view photos of the box.
There are no initials, engravings, or owner's inscriptions on the blade, handle, or sheath.

Again--I am not a knife expert. I have done my best to research this knife, list it accurately, and photograph it from all angles to show the true condition and describe any major flaws.
