The night Gwen Stacy died!
In 1973, Spider-Man fans the world over were shocked by a story that had previously been unthinkable. To strike at the heart of Peter Parker, the Green Goblin kidnaps the woman he loves, Gwen Stacy, and Spider-Man faces a race against time as he swings to the rescue.
Readers were used to Spidey saving the day - and as the Goblin sends Gwen plummeting from a bridge, our hero believes he has done it again, firing out a webline that breaks her fall. But when Peter holds Gwen in his arms, the heartbreaking truth is revealed - and comic books are changed forever!
It's a masterpiece of storytelling from Gerry Conway and Gil Kane, and one of the all-time great Marvel comic books, boldly re-presented in its original form, ads and all!
