Vintage Chouinard Salewa 12-point, Rigid Adjustable Crampons. The classic rigid crampon used by the seller in the Olympic and Cascade mountains in Oregon and Washington during the 1970s.
Fully Adjustable rigid crampons for length and width. Per the manufacture, these should fit mens boot sizes from approximate size 7 to size 13. Point length approximately 1.24-inches (32 mm). Manufactured from aircraft alloy steel in West Germany. A small bit of surface rust on the crampons, see pictures. Some of the original paint is gone. There may also be some residue of duct tape on the crampons. Duct tape was used in the 1970s to ensure you didn’t lose the Allen bolts. All 9 (18 total) of the original adjustment threaded Allen bolts are still intact. No boot straps.
