1. Secure the tensioner by installing the tension rod as shown and tightening the fixing screws. When tightening, the screws must align with the shaft's plane.
2. Adjust the wool clamp
Use the wool knob on the back of the tensioner to loosen the clamp's grip. Turning clockwise tightens it, while counterclockwise loosens it. When using low tension, set the wool clamp to barely prevent the enameled wire from slipping off the wool ring, creating only minimal resistance.
3. Set the output tension
Based on the required tension, repeatedly adjust the tension adjustment dial and counter-tension knob until the output tension meets specifications and the tension rod operates at an appropriate angle.
