L'Culinary Academy of France is an academy created in 1883 by the Swiss cook, Joseph Favre. It organizes or participates in competitions, exhibitions and conferences in France or abroad.
In 1877, Joseph Favre worked on the creation of a group of writers, and the writing of a dictionary.
The medal on the reverse takes up the portrait of Antonin Carême, in the center of a still life, representing a kitchen with its products and utensils.
