This Marjorie Cox signed pastel portrait of sheep is a medium-sized, framed painting created in 1978 in the United Kingdom. The artwork features a realistic style, hand-drawn on paper, making it a one-of-a-kind piece. The contemporary piece depicts a portrait of animals, specifically sheep, showcasing the artist's unique talent and technique in this original pastel portrait.

This is a particularly lovely pastel and quite unusual for Marjorie Cox as she mostly painted dogs and cats but was also known to paint people and horses in fact any animal she was commissioned to do.

Approximate measurements including frame. 47 cms x 41 cms
