This is a Stunning and Desirable piece of Vintage British Gold and Gemstone Jewellery. Made in 9ct Yellow Gold it is a Signet Ring featuring a Flat Oval Cabochon of Carnelian to the Centre on a Plain Shank. The Ring is Fully Hallmarked on the inside of the Band though hard to photograph with JAC for the Maker's Mark, 375 on Scales and 375 for the Gold Purity, the Anchor Mark for Birmingham Assay Office and it has been electronically tested at a precious metal refinery to confirm the Gold Content. It weighs 2.7g, is a UK size T or approx. a US size 9 3/4, the Carnelian measures 12mm long x 10mm wide and the Band measures 2.2mm wide to the underneath of the Shank. The Ring is in a used and good condition with no damage and just some minor surface wear. As can be seen in the second to last photo the Ring has been resized at some point leaving a thin lighter coloured line and in the last photo you can see the Shank is out of shape but this will quickly mould to a new finger so I don't believe either of these things really detract. The box in the photos is for display purposes only and is not the one the Ring will be posted out in.
