Condition: Acceptable antique condition. This is a well-loved set of small format books, showing significant wear commensurate with their age. The embossed brown/tan cloth covers with elaborate gold decoration are rubbed, scuffed, and worn, particularly along the edges and spines, with some fraying and small tears (please see photos for detailed views). Two volumes of "Soldiers of Fortune" are present. The spine gold lettering on some volumes is faded. The pages are age-toned, and there may be occasional foxing or minor marks typical of books from this era. Despite the external wear, these remain a charming and historically interesting set.
