DESCRIPTION: Offered at auction is a collection of first day covers and 1st day of issue stamps marking historical events and people in US history. Also included is a section of wildflower covers and stamps. They are bound in a book. The cancellation dates start in 1992 and end in 1994. Not every sleeve is double sided or filled but there are 65 actual pages featuring covers and info for the historical events/people and 29 actual pages for the wildflower section. Covers have previous owner's name/ address. Some of the more interesting historical events and people featured include the Olympics, Christmas, Elvis Presley, space fantasy, WWII, Broadway musicals, horses, the circus and country music. I have posted as many photographs as ebay will allow. Message me if you have questions. This collection is from the estate of an avid and serious stamp collector. Items from a smoke-free home.
