This vintage postcard features a stunning color illustration of Eglise Saint Bernard Church located in Saint Bernard, N.E., Canada. The image captures the magnificent Gothic Revival architecture of the stone church, complete with soaring spires, pointed arches, and detailed masonry. Period cars and a gathering of people in front add a charming historical touch, suggesting a mid-20th century era. The tranquil blue sky contrasts beautifully with the church's gray stone and red roof, creating a visually appealing scene.
Printed by Photogelatine Engraving Co., Limited, Ottawa, this original postcard is a fine example of early Canadian postcard production with photogelatine printing techniques. The back of the card is marked 'Made in Canada' and shows the classic divided back layout typical of postcards from the early to mid-1900s. This postcard is ideal for collectors of Canadian landmarks, religious architecture, or vintage automotive imagery. Its combination of historical, geographical, and architectural interest makes it a unique collectible piece.
