This charming Staffordshire-style ceramic figurine depicts Field Marshal Sir Colin Campbell, a British military leader known for his role in the Battle of Alma and the relief of the Siege of Lucknow during the Indian Mutiny, on horseback, rendered in classic Victorian flatback style, hand-painted in vibrant colors. 

 

Though this piece is a late 20th century reproduction, it faithfully captures the charm, color, and character of the original 19th-century Staffordshire figures. The hand-painted glaze and classic form make it an appealing decorative and collectible item.
