A turn of the 19th Century Keswick School of Industrial Art metalwork copper large footed bowl or planter. The rim is 22 cm diameter, the foot is 15.5 cm diameter, height 11.5 cm.

Unmarked, likely produced at the night school, where work was not stamped. Purchased from a Cumbrian auction house in 2008 and attributed to the school by them also. I can provide the auction and lot number, the record is still on the Invaluable platform.

In overall good condition with no damage. The rim is generally in good shape with no splits to the metal, but there is some unevenness, not detracting from the overall form. Nice patina to the metal.

Wine bottle pictured for scale.
