About this guitar
This guitar came directly from Epiphone to my supplier, it was never sold retail, the protective cover is still on the pickguard. It was sent to my supplier because of a finish blemish on the top of the lower bout. I have included a close-up picture pointing to it. The guitar was examined by certified technicians and no other issues were found. When we polished the guitar we did not find any other blemishes, dings or cracks.
This all solid wood Hummingbird 6 string sounds fantastic! When I picked it up and strummed it at my supplier I was blown away, this Inspired by Gibson is a big step up from the previous Hummingbird models. The tone is rich and full, just like you would expect from a solid wood instrument.

Here is what Epiphone says about the Hummingbird Inspired by Gibson 6 String
The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Hummingbird acoustic-electric guitar closely adheres to the classic Kalamazoo style. First introduced in 1960, the Hummingbird was featured on countless classic rock records. It continues to be an inspiration for players today. This special instrument produces a clear, bright tone with a beautifully balanced sonic range.
Epiphone spec'd this Inspired by Gibson Hummingbird acoustic-electric guitar with all the right stuff. It's an all-solid-wood guitar, with mahogany back and sides and a spruce top. The aged vintage gloss accentuates the grain underneath.
The mahogany neck has a comfortable rounded C-profile and attaches to the body with a traditional dovetail joint. Mother-of-pearl split parallelogram inlays line the Indian laurel fingerboard, complementing the famous Hummingbird pickguard. Epiphone makes it easy to amplify the Hummingbird with a Fishman Sonicore undersaddle pickup. Control the volume and tone with the soundhole-mounted Sonitone preamp.
Other features you'll love on the Inspired by Gibson Hummingbird acoustic-electric guitar include Epiphone Deluxe tuners with press in gold bushings, 6-ply top and 4-ply back binding, antique ivory fingerboard binding, reverse belly Indian laurel bridge and a bone nut and saddle.

FAQ, frequently asked questions
Why are instruments sent to a refurbisher? The instrument could be a discontinued model, have a finish imperfection, be an overstock item, or need a minor repair.
Who refurbishes your instruments? All of my instruments come from the largest and best refurbisher in the country, where any issue found is corrected by a factory trained and authorized technician.
Does a refurbished instrument have the manufacturer warranty? No, any instrument sent to a refurbisher, regardless of the reason it was sent there, no longer carries the manufacturer warranty.
Will I need to set up my instrument when I receive it? All of my instruments have been set-up before shipping, so most are ready to play out of the box. However some instruments may need a minor adjustment after shipping due to changes in temperature, humidity, and getting bumped around during shipping.
What identifies an instrument as being refurbished? Some refurbished instruments have a small used stamp on the back of the head stock and are issued a new serial number. This is to prevent an unethical dealer from concealing the fact that the instrument was sent to a refurbisher.
