With the H0 model of the Vectron electric locomotive of the FS Mercitalia in Era VI, Piko fulfills the wishes of the Piko fans who, both as managers of plants and as collectors, have opted for models based on the most recent railway technology.
With Vectron, Piko provides a high precision model that has numerous extras based on a solid die -cast zinc frame and equipped with proven Piko standards. The tested Piko engine guarantees excellent gear properties with two large flywheels. The traction force of the locomotive, which is operated by all four axes, has increased by two traction tires, which are diagonally compared to each other on the axes that run inside both trolleys. The front and rear headlights are illuminated by LEDs, whose red or white changes with the direction of travel.
The elegant external appearance of this model includes a technical "roof landscape" reproduced with accurately detailed precision and trolleys with profiles of the discs of the prototypical wheels.
