The bearer of this certificate, a student of the seventh class of the private Jewish real school of Haikin in the city of Minsk, Chaim Leibovich Berger, as evidenced by documents, is the son of a townsman of the Jewish faith, born on August 26, 1893. He was admitted in 1909, by examination, to the fifth class of the same private real school and remained there for four years until completing the full course of study. Throughout this period, his conduct was exemplary.
In 1913, during the final examinations conducted under the supervision of deputies from the Vilna Educational District, he demonstrated the following knowledge:

This certificate is issued to Chaim Berger and grants him, based on the Imperial Decree of January 28, 1906, the right to enter higher specialized educational institutions on equal terms with students who have completed the full course of government real schools with their additional classes. It also grants him the military service rights equivalent to those of such students, in accordance with the conditions outlined in Article 67 of the Statute on Military Service.
