Beautiful Victorian era wool coat. This beauty is single breasted. There are ribbons of silk and soutache braiding. If you look closely, there are areas of the silk that are shattered. The collar is trimmed in velvet. The buttons are covered in silk and trimmed in Cotton. The sleeves are slightly puffed and are trimmed with buttons as well. The lining of the coat is polished cotton. I did find one moth hole on the right elbow as shown.
