Check the fit
This tie is 550mm overall length and 9.0mm strip width. Overall length is not the maximum bundle circumference: part of the tail is needed to enter the locking head and engage the catch. Measure the route around the bundle and allow sufficient tail for fitting.
Typical uses
Useful for organising computer and television leads, grouping workshop wiring, separating cable runs by colour and general household or garage organisation. Position the locking head where it will remain accessible and avoid trapping connectors or sharply bending cables.
Standard fastening
These are standard one-way locking ties. They are not the release-tab design sold as releasable cable ties. For removal, use a suitable cutting tool and protect the cable insulation. A removed tie should be replaced rather than relied on as a reusable fastening.
How to use
Loop the tie around the items, feed the tail through the locking head and pull until the bundle is held without compressing insulation. Trim excess tail neatly if required. Do not use cable-tie colour as a substitute for the electrical identification required for an installation.
