Eytan of Eytan's Designs has almost fifty years' experience designing, selling, buying, repairing, refashioning & appraising jewelry. In January, 2019 we started the slow but satisfying process of listing Eytan's inventory on-line so that he can semi-retire and focus more on custom designs. Please check back as we're listing new items every week -- all fine jewelry in a range of styles and all priced with an emphasis on fairness and realism!
Eytan made this charming what-not in 18K gold with a nice frosty brushed finish that contrasts perfectly with a sweet little 3.7mm pearl.
The pendant is just over a half inch long, just under a half inch wide and a skoosh over 1mm thick.
The pendant comes with a 20" beaded necklace (removable) strung with 2mm black and pink spinel faceted rondelle beads plus the tiniest freshwater potato pearls we could find.
The necklace is finished with a 14 karat gold lobster clasp.
The pendant weighs 1.8 grams. With the necklace, the total weight is 5.87 grams.
The lobster clasp is stamped "585." Eytan marked the pendant "18K" but didn't sign it because that's the way he rolls.
Is the pearl in the tray Akoya or freshwater? We don't frankly know. Eytan has a lot of stray pearls and this one fit the post on the pendant, so it won the contest.
