Extremely Rare French Art Deco 18K Gold Silver Mother Virgin Mary Madonna Charm Pendant 👰🏻 Fully hallmarked on the top front connection bridge with the eagles head for the front is a thin layer of 18K gold (OR) of French origin, the side facial profile of mother Mary, and the goldsmith makers mark on the opposite side of the bridge (CUP) French goldsmith < C P >with a crescent between the alphabets for Charles Persinet, early 1900s , while the thicket reverse layer is silver, ARGENT, the rear top is punched OR / ARGENT which translates to GOLD / SILVER. The reverse bottom has 17.4.44 most likely for the date April 17, 1944 ? Weighs approximately 1.6 grams. Approximately 2 cm (12.7/16 of an inch) in height from top hallmarked bridge, excluding loose oval bale, to bottom edge, and approximately 1.6 cm (10/16 of an inch) in width from right edge corner to left edge corner. Extremely rare to find a Mother Mary medallion pendant with such diverse marks, in fact I have never seen another so far, but I am sure a few others were handcrafted. The French were always the first to experiment with different applications of metals and stones in theses eras.
