This Driver Side Valve Cover was removed from the 3.8L V8 of a 1981 Mercedes-Benz 380SEL with 124k miles. Fits 81-83 380SEL, SEC and 81-85 380SL. May also fit other models as well (cross reference part number 1170160005 for compatibility.) The item in the pictures is the exact item you will receive. Good condition, no damage. There are some marks that may appear as cracks, but they are only on the outer surface and do not affect operation of the part. I think they may be casting marks, as they do not penetrate all the way through into the inside of the valve cover. Close up photos shown, so you can decide.
