Sold as is. This console is able to play both USA and Japan cartridges. The console and both Japanese games work fine however, the controller has drift issues and I could not get it to work properly. I tested this controller on 2 different consoles and they drifted for both consoles so I feel like the issue lies with the controller and not the console but I'm no professional so keep that in mind when purchasing. The controller will work ok for a few seconds when you unplug the controller and then plug it back in but then it just goes back to drifting a hard left to the point you can’t stop it and your character just keeps running in a circle. So I'm not sure if the controller needs a cleaning or not cause the sticks don't feel very loose to me from what I've seen online. It seems pretty tight. Also, the controller cable was deteriorating when I pulled this out of my living room cabinet. It was oily/sticky. I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol 91% and it seems to have got it back to normal for now but I’m sure the stickiness will return eventually so the cable for the controller may need to be replaced one day. Please see photos for condition and I would recommend someone that knows how to repair these issues, would make a good candidate for buying this lot as I do not accept returns.
