This is a brand new, unused M-System M2MS-4W-R/K/CE Potentiometer Transmitter, as seen in the images. This device converts a resistance input from a potentiometer to a proportional voltage output signal. It has a wide input range of 100Ω to 10kΩ and provides a scalable output of -10V to +10V DC.
The unit is designed for industrial applications and is powered by a 24V DC supply. Its calibration can be precisely adjusted using the "ZERO" and "SPAN" potentiometers on the side of the unit. The included label indicates that it is a spare part for a "Riser Gantry Crane".
