Replacement Guideline
Sway bars
- To hold the stud on the end of the sway bar link while adding the new lock nut.
- Using the wrench, install the new lock nut, making sure to wrench it the whole way.
- With the sway bar link in position, put the nut on using your hand.
- Wrench the nut tight to the vehicle manufacturer recommended torque values
- Changing wrenches as needed to fit the new sway bar link nut.
Signs of sway bars breaks
- Rattling and thumping noises on rough roads.
- Imprecise vehicle handling.
- Stronger inclination of the vehicle during cornering.
Infiuence of a bad sway bars
- Without the sway bar, the car will not handle and corner as well, or as comfortably for the driver and passengers
