1984 Press Photo Alec McCowen portrays Rudyard Kipling on Broadway's "Kipling"

This is an original press photo. Alec McCowen, the distinguished British actor will return to Broadway as "Kipling," a new play by Brian Clark. Mr. Clark wrote the acclaimed Broadway play and film "Whose Life Is It Anyway?" Mr. McCowen will star in this one-man play based on the life and drama of Rudyard Kipling. Patrick Garland will direct. It starts previews on October 3 and opens Wednesday, October 10 at the Royale Theater (242 W. 45th St.) and will play thru November 11. Tickets are $30 and $25. Performances are evenings Tuesday thru Saturday at 8:00 PM. Sunday matinee at 3:00 PM. Photo measures 8 x 10inches. Photo is dated 10-03-1984.
