The double-layered leather design uses two pieces of leather, taking more time than two to create one. The inner layer is made of fine, top-grain calfskin leather, providing enhanced protection for the machine.
The outer layer is made of imported, vegetable-tanned top-grain cowhide from the Tuscan Vegetable Tanning Alliance in Italy. The inner layer is made of top-grain calfskin leather.
