Manufacturer's Description

• Functionality: It's a motor-assisted, automated injector that works with the INFINITI Vision System and is controlled via the phaco system's foot pedal. It provides smooth, consistent IOL delivery, which helps maintain wound integrity and enhances surgical control during micro-incision cataract surgery. It is intended to deliver AcrySof® lenses SN60WF, SN6AD1, SN6AT3 through SN6AT9, and other approved AcrySof lenses specifically indicated for use with this inserter.

• Design: The device is reusable and typically made of metallic and plastic materials. It has a central plunger, activated by a precise mechanism (like a screw thread), and a distal mechanism to hold the insertion cartridge.
• Surgeon Control: It allows for single-hand insertion, enabling the surgeon to stabilize the eye with the other hand. The injector's operation is controlled via surgeon-selected parameters and the phaco system's foot pedal. The velocity can be customized to the surgeon's preference.
