Edward Hergelroth (1912-1995) American Listed Watercolor Cape Breton Landscape

Up for sale is vintage c.1940's original watercolor painting by American artist Edward Hergelroth (1912-1995).

This Cape Breton, Nova Scotia landscape is titled "Aspy Bay" and is very well executed with high level of artistic skills.

The painting in-sight is measuring about 13 ½” (34 cm) by 18" (46 cm), and the frame is measuring 20” (50 cm) by 24 (60 cm).


The painting is signed by the artist in the lower right corner

This painting would be a very sound investment and a great addition to any collection.

                               Edward Hergelroth (1912-1995)

Hergelroth (1912-1995) first visited Cape Neddick as a boy and spent most of his summers painting there. He studied privately with Robert Laurent and William Von Schlegel and was an active member and past president of the Ogunquit Art Association. He graduated from the Cincinnati Art Academy. He received an MFA from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia where he was chair of Temple’s Art Education Department before retiring to his beloved home on River Road in Cape Neddick in 1972.

International shipping varies from $106.00 to $137.00 by Airmail. Please contact us for exact shipping cost to your country.

If you are planning to reframe the painting and therefore don’t need the existing frame, please let us know, so we could un-frame the painting and see if the shipping cost can be reduced.
