Description

The ASAHI OPT. INC. SMC TAKUMAR 1:1.4/50 is a standard lens, with a plastic rubberized focusing ring. The last model of SMC/S-M-C/Super Takumar 50mm F1.4 series (1965-1975). Enables open aperture metering on Spotmatic F, ES and ESII.

Appearance

Beautiful cosmetics with some light signs of use.

Optics

No scuff, scratch or scars on the F/R lens glass surfaces.
No fog or haze.
No balsam separation.
Light fungus on inside of the rear element (please refer the last photo). You may need to clean. A M42 MF lens is the easiest lens to be CLA'd, but you need proper tools and technique.
There are tiny dusts inside, which never affect photos.
