Red House Seeker S SSH Pre-owned Red House Guitars, based in Nagano Prefecture, is a highly acclaimed new manufacturer of Japanese guitars and basses. They also produce OEMs for many top brands, and their technical expertise is well-known. This is an SSH version of the Seeker S, a Dinky-shaped Stratocaster model slightly smaller than a full-size guitar. The color is a shade close to blue ice metallic, somewhere between silver and blue. Controls include a master volume/tone and a mid-booster. The mini switch controls the bridge pickup coil tap. The body is crafted from high-quality alder, and the pickups are two original R.H. Single Coil pickups and one Red House HP pickup, both direct-mounted. The neck is made of hard maple, and the fingerboard is slab-veneered rosewood with a striking contrast and strong black grain. The fingerboard side position markers are made of luminescent Luminlay. The assembly features a Gotoh Magnum Lock (SD91/05M MG-T), Gotoh Synchro Tremolo (510TS-FE1), and metal control knobs, allowing you to experience the excellent balance of a Japanese-made guitar, including its tuning stability and sound. Thanks to the direct mount, the tone is characterized by a tight, well-defined sound, excellent separation, a fast attack, and highly accurate picking response.
