    1. Iron-Rust Flower Glaze - A Rare Glaze

Rust flower glaze is a less common glaze color. It is a type of crystalline glaze using iron as a colorant. Its name derives from its resemblance to rust flowers. The first impression of rust flower glaze is its nearly uniform dark brown color. While seemingly monotonous, a closer look reveals a world of its own. The texture of each piece of rust flower glaze is actually unique, with a distinct graininess. Some grains are fine, others dense, and even some are larger.

    2. Iron-Rust Glaze - Popularity

Iron-Rust flower glaze was a popular porcelain variety in northern my country during the Song and Jin dynasties. Many kilns, including the Cizhou Kiln in Hebei, the Linru Kiln in Henan, and the Huairen Kiln in Shanxi, produced this unique glaze. It achieved success during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, and appears in shapes such as cups, plates, jars, bottles, and incense burners.  It was also produced during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Its glaze color is mostly reddish-brown. In addition to iron, the glaze also contains an appropriate amount of manganese. There are also star-shaped crystal spots flashing in it, which is very beautiful.
