Compatibility Notes

For CDR23 and CDR24 radios, the vehicle MUST have an OEM 6 CD changer installed in the trunk.

CDR23 and CDR24 systems are NOT compatible without OEM CD changer support.

PCM2.0 and PCM2.1 systems work out of the box. No OEM CD changer is required.

Installation & Compatibility Notes

MR12volt P800 operates through the factory CD changer mode.

If the Porsche has an OEM external CD changer, an optical loop connector (1x supplied in this package) is required to bypass the CD changer.

The OEM CD changer will be disabled after bypass installation.

If the Porsche also has an OEM external phone module, an additional optical loop connector is required to bypass the phone module in order for steering wheel phone buttons to function properly.

Package includes 1x optical loop connector only.

Vehicles equipped with both OEM CD changer and OEM phone module will require an additional optical loop connector.

APTX is a Bluetooth audio technology designed to improve wireless music sound quality.

For APTX to function, both the smartphone and the MR12volt P800 must support APTX codec compatibility. Otherwise, the system will automatically use standard Bluetooth audio transmission.
