Rare antiquarian art plates and article: HYDROSTATICS & HYDRAULICS, with 8 pages of text and two beautiful copper engravings: "Hydraulic Engines with various entertaining experiments", and "Elementary Principles of Hydrostatics, hydraulic engines as siphon pumps". Though no date is given, this is from the 1790's edition of a work called "Royal Encyclopedia", published in the UK. Measures 9.5x14 inches; plates are blank on the reverse.

Condition is EX: the plates are off-white and very clean with a couple of very small spots and tiny edge tear; text pages have some tanning and foxing and several small edge tears.
