This NP208-C remanufactured transfer case is a direct replacement unit which fits 1981-1988 Chevy, GMC, GM trucks. There are multiple variations of this unit based on your vehicle specifications with differing spline counts etc. We carry every version/variation of this unit which is why, when you purchase from this listing we will send you whichever version you need for your truck. We will reach out to you before shipping to confirm which spline count you'll need, what your hooking it up to etc to confirm fitment. Return/Warranty Policy

What Is Our Warranty Policy?

All of our remanufactured units come with an 18 month unlimited mileage replacement warranty. 36 month extended warranties are also available to purchase!

What Happens If My Unit Is Defective?

If a unit becomes defective within 18 months of purchasing, a replacement Transfer Case will be provided at no cost. In some cases, we may choose to refund the money. Transfer Case World will pay for the cost of return shipping.

Are Returns Accepted?

Certainly, you may return an item within 14 days from the date of purchase. However, returns are not permissible if the product has been fitted into a vehicle, or has been altered, modified, or damaged. To process a return with us, you’ll need to obtain a return authorization. Understanding the complexities of drivetrain diagnostics is exhausting, but before making a purchase, please ensure that the issue with your vehicle is indeed due to the transfer case. If a unit has been mounted in your vehicle, it becomes non-returnable. We encourage you to thoroughly verify the need for a transfer case replacement prior to placing an order.

Core Return Policy

We Will Pay For The Core Return Shipping (A Pre-Paid UPS Label Will Be Included In The Package)

*All transfer cases are sold on an exchange basis. In addition to the purchase price paid, we expect to receive a qualified core in return and our original shipping container back in all sales unless other arrangements are agreed upon prior to purchase and notated as such on the invoice. You have 30 days from the invoice date to return a qualified core and the original shipping container to us. If we do not receive a qualified core and our original shipping container within 30 days, you will be expected to pay an additional missing core and container fee ($200)

*Note: If you have a bad or missing core, call us to confirm your details. In some cases we may accept an excessively damaged core as a valid Core Return if agreed upon prior to purchasing. If you have no returnable core, we may still be able to fulfill your order with a missing core fee, ($200)

THERE WILL BE NO WARRANTY ON THE NEW TRANSFER CASE UNTIL WE HAVE RECEIVED EITHER YOUR CORE BACK, OR THE MISSING CORE FEE
