Description Art Deco gilt bronze and marble trinket dish. Circa 1900. Features a pair of finely casted gilt bronze figures in the form of love birds mounted on a circular marble bowl with a tapering rim. Beautiful coloration to the marble, with veining in shades of red, rust, and white. Total height is 3 1/4". The birds measure 2 5/8" height x 6" length across the tails. Bowl measures 4 5/8" diameter x 1 1/4" height. In overall good antique to vintage condition with general wear commensurate with age and use. The bowl is in good condition, showing a few nicks to the surface likely natural to the stone.
