While the YEV104/105's chin rest was silver, the YEV104/105PRO's color is unified in black. Attention to detail in the exterior creates a unified look.

Pursuing the authentic sound and playing feel of an acoustic violin, it maximizes the performer's expressiveness on stage.

・Body structure similar to

an acoustic violin Like an acoustic violin, the body features a spruce top and a maple back. Slits on the side of the body create a hollow body structure similar to an acoustic violin. This delivers a richer, more acoustic-like sound and quicker response.

・Improved bridge specifications

The maple bridge has been treated with ARE (are) processing (*1), further improving sound quality and response. Additionally, while the YEV104/105 featured a shielding cover (*2) covering both sides of the bridge, the YEV104/105PRO features one side removed and only the tailpiece side. Furthermore, by switching to a thinner material, the bridge moves more freely, allowing it to sensitively capture and convert changes in bow movement into sound.

(*1) "ARE" stands for Acoustic Resonance Enhancement, a revolutionary wood modification technology that matures wood in a short period of time, producing a sound reminiscent of an instrument that has been used for many years.

(*2) A shielding cover is a metal cover that prevents noise generated when the instrument is connected to an amplifier or other device. Quick Tuning

Wittner's Fine Tune Tuners, highly sought after and highly acclaimed for their stage performance, are used. Their internal gears allow for precise tuning, enabling quick tuning even on stage.

Lightweight Weight:

Approximately 550g (YEV105PRO), equivalent to that of an acoustic violin. This is approximately 40g lighter than the YEV105, allowing for playing with a feel almost identical to that of an acoustic violin.

Dedicated circuitry for the YEV104/105PRO

The circuitry has been specially designed for the YEV104/105PRO, taking into account the characteristics of the instrument and pickups. This allows for powerful bass to be produced regardless of the connection status of external devices such as the Line 6 G10 wireless system or whether the volume control is on or off.
