When attaching the pump to the bottle, avoid over-tightening the spigot. Use the cap base to secure the pump, not the spigot. Over-tightening can make it hard to unlock later. Twist gently and only until secure.

Install the pump by securing the cap firmly. Avoid tightening it using the spigot. Once installed, twist the spigot counterclockwise a full turn until it pops up.

To close/lock the pump, push it down fully and keep pressing while twisting the spigot clockwise a full turn until it locks. Some product may discharge during this process.
