This 135 + year old badge measures approx. 2.5" wide by 9" long.  It has a gold-embossed pink silk ribbon with a fragile green and white paper top.  There is a peace dove image with olive branch on the ribbon and it is dated Sept. 15, 1890.  There is a gold metallic thread star at the top with the same bottom fringe and the attached medal has blue enamel on a gilt brass base.  It reads in part:  Session Of The S.G.L. Topeka, Kan.  The ribbon is torn in places horizontally and has become separated near the top portion. The back of the medal portion reads: Maker C.F. Irons Providence, R.I.  A scarce IOOF collectible!  Thanks for looking at this auction.
