The Tissue-Tek SmartWrite Slide Printer is a high resolution thermal transfer printer designed for on-demand slide label printing of black or color identifiers directly onto microscope slides for use in pathology and cytology laboratories. The slide printer's uniquely formulated thermal ink provides easy to read printing that is chemically resistant and smudge proof when dry. The high resolution (300 dpi) makes it possible for the microscope slide label printer to print alphanumeric characters, as well as 1D and 2D barcodes and graphics.

The printer shows very little use (the blue light that appears to spill onto the table is just a reflection). The printer is guaranteed to be in proper working order.
