This is a high quality antenna. It was tuned perfectly right out of the box, with an SWR of 1.1. I attached mine to the PL 145 magnet mount, another high quality product. Before I ordered a new big radio in my new car, I used this antenna for a few weeks with a puny Midland handheld. I was still able to reach out about eight miles on mountainous roads with this little bone stock radio. It was all because of this antenna. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
well wilson has had it's run for a long time now there is a new king in town , I own the turbo 5000 just the same as the performer just without the lever to lower it , this out talks and out receives the Wilson hands down , never a better antenna made to date than the sirio performer 5000/turbo 5000, I hear stations I can only hear from my base in my suv , I out talk any one in my group and some run over 500 watts i'm just running around 120 pep , and talking to places I never could before , I could go on and on but no need to just get one and you'll see , plus you can use the Wilson mag base to run the sirio's ,plus they claim to come pre-tuned well I am always a doubter but I checked and I couldn't get it any better , so order yours today and get ta talking
