  • The sweet iron coating will encourage salivation and acceptance of the bit.
  • The sweet iron will oxidize easily encouraging the horse or pony to readily accept the bit by creating a warm sweet taste in the horse’s mouth.
  • The barrel center gives some movement but is stiller than a conventional lozenge so it doesn’t irritate or put pressure on the palate 
  • Highly recommended for horses that do not react well from the contact of the bit are suitable for sensitive corners of the mouths.
  • The oval rings which are fixed to the mouth-piece, keep the bit steady in the mouth.
  • They also prevent the bit from being pulled through the mouth, ensuring only gentle pressure onto the center point of the tongue.
