Automatic door: An
automatic door is also available at an extra cost. The automatic door
operates either on a timer or with a light sensor to manage the opening
and closing of your chicken coop door. You can opt for default mode
which uses a light sensor to detect the ambient light level or you can
program opening and closing using the timer (12 hr / 24 hr). This door must be installed vertically. The door operates on 2 AA alkaline batteries or a 5V DC adaptor (not supplied).
