This guide will explain step by step, with many pictures of how to disassemble, repair, and reassemble your Bose unit.

These Bose Wave models have original capacitors from the manufacturer that fail very commonly and cause a variety of issues with these units. Replacing them will bring your unit back to life for a lifetime.

You will need basic soldering skills to complete the repair. If you have no experience soldering, I suggest you watch YouTube “How To” videos on basic circuit board soldering.

You do NOT need to be an expert to complete this repair. With a little patience, we are confident most people can complete this repair with no experience.
