Boehm Porcelain Fledgling Great Horned Owl, rare and hard to find. This sculpture was released from the Trenton, NJ studio in 1965 at a retail price of $350.00. The sculpture began it’s life as a Fledgling Red-tailed Owl abut was abandoned after only one example was made. This sculpture is a Fledgling Great Horned Owl #479 and was announced as a limited edition of 750 pieces, completed in June 1970 with a closing price of $350.00. In the 1980’s the Boehm Gallery was offering the Great Horned Owl for $975.00 (see last photo).

This beautifully sculpted and hand-painted Owl is being offered in excellent condition. The Owl measures approximately 5” wide by 7” deep and 7” tall.
