As with all off-the-rack clothing, your local tailor can perform some alterations and adjustments to help improve the fit of the garment on your body. If the jacket's waist feels slightly snug, then there is extra fabric built into the seams that can be let out up to 1.5" by a tailor
The manufacturing tolerances for jackets are +/- 0.5" on the half-measurements for the chest and waist, and +/- 0.5" for the shoulder, back length, and sleeve length.
