This is a colorful megalodon shark tooth fossil I got from an old collection. It did not come with any locality info.

In the second to last photo you could see the top left corner of the root is restored (if you look closely you could see it’s a different color/texture). I believe that is the only restoration after inspecting it. There might have been a glue or sealant out on part of the root for preservation purposes as part of the root is shinier than other parts.

Length of tooth: approximately 3.25 inches

Exact weight: 2.1 oz

Note: Actual colors of photos are NOT edited, but sometimes exposure or other camera settings are changed. I take pictures either outside in natural sunlight or in a light box, so colors may seem brighter or different from actuality

Note: The fossils are packed with extreme care, but if the fossil does break in transit somehow, I can only give any form of compensation if there is video proof of the full unboxing provided that shows the fossil was damaged right out of the box. Thank you.
