For sale is a roll of 12mm x 33m Polyester Tape (PET).

Unused Surplus Stock. Supplied to a UK Government contract/department but has been deemed surplus to current requirements.

PET tape is generally made of PET film coated with high temperature resistant silica gel. Usually has good adhesion, good conformability, high temperature resistance, solvent resistance, no tin penetration, no glue residue, and good electrical properties.

Short-term temperature resistance is 250℃, long-term temperature resistance is 180℃; (short-term is a few minutes, long-term is half an hour)

Used in a wide range of industries and situations such as but not exclusive to:

Spray Painting, baking varnish, sealing, footwear, packaging and fixing, construction and decoration industries;

As high-temperature insulation winding for transformers, motors, coils, capacitors and variable frequency power supplies in the electronics industry;

It is suitable for shielding and protecting gold fingers during the process of printed circuit board (PCB), SMT tin furnace and wave soldering;

Electrical insulation protection and positive and negative electrode fixation of lithium batteries;

Suitable for welding protection;

Mobile phone lithium battery manufacturing and bundling.
