Facially this neck tube face mask design looks like the crazed grin Tim Curry had as ‘Dr Frank-N-Furter’ from the Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975 film), of course it’s the same grin as Tim Curry had as Pennywise the titular antagonist in the original version of Stephen King’s horror ‘It’ [1990] (although the red and white head and hair is different to the design on this snood).

Around the mouth and lips there is what I assume is supposed to be blood, implying that this psycho clown is not just a killer, but a cannibal too (either that, or it’s smudged lipstick from passionate snogging! Lol).

 

Cannibal Clown character as epitomised in films like:

 - Clown in a Cornfield (2025 film) about the former mascot of a dilapidated dustbowl midwestern town reemerging as a terrifying scourge.

- Big Top Evil (2019 film) where clowns from a travelling circus terrorise a group of friends on a road trip

- Clown (2014 film) detailing what happens when an unsuspecting Dad puts on a cursed clown costume which belonged to a demonic serial killer…

-  S.I.C.K. [AKA Cannibal Clown Killer](2003 film) about a psycho clown children’s performer who terrorises a group of friends in a cabin in the woods.

- Killer Klowns from Outer Space (1988 film), alien clowns who terrorise a town and gain a taste for human blood.

Cool face covering for my husband. It is stretchy enough for him to get over his head, then fit closely over his nose and mouth. Fun design which can be used in the multi-functional ways specified on the wrapper, although I reckon it’ll mainly be worn as a face and neck mask.
